What are we looking for – the must have Tech Skills

• Design and development of applications using Java, J2EE
• Experience in web technology stack including but not limited to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON
• Working with one or more backend databases RDBMS and NoSQL: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.
• Development using Spring, Hibernate, Java 8
• Experience in development of REST APIs, Microservices
• Experience in webservers like Apache Tomcat, WebLogic
• Experience with source control tools (Git, SVN etc.)
• Build and release management experience with tools like Maven, ANT, Gradle (or similar tools)
• Experience in containerization, Docker, Kubernetes is an asset

You have a passion to design and develop complex applications – experience in application development in a banking and financial services setting is ideal

• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills
• Expert in log analysis and pursue leads to find root cause problems
• Experience in working in a with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science (Master’s Degree in similar field of study is an asset)
• Excellent communication skills with previous consulting experience is ideal
